Growing up I was invovled with a great program through my church, “Junior Bible Quiz.” A great opportunity for kids 3-6 grade to learn tons of bible verses, stories, promises and random facts about the bible, characters in it, and, of course, God. Think of it like a geography club/meets, except with the bible. Amazing experience, and GREAT for my competitive nature 
Well last year I got an awesome opportunity to go back to my roots, sort of. Now they’ve expanded the program with a PeeWee Quiz league, for K5-2nd graders. The program is a lot less competitive because everyone is given a chance to answer, even if you’re not the person the fastest to buzz in. Anyway, I get to coach a team and it’s amazing. Last year I got a group of the oldest kids who knew their stuff, but this year I got a group of younger kids. It is incredible because they don’t know everything already and I get to see my hard work paying off! For example, I am HUGE on finding creative ways to remember things, sometimes its singing, sometimes through neumerics, sometimes saying things with funny voices, whatever works. Imagine my pure joy as a question comes up that we’ve been working on for weeks, and not only do they answer it correctly, but they sing the answer!! Yes! Something is sinking in! Something is paying off!!
Anyway, I just wanted to say that my girls are amazing and I’m so excited to watch them grow over the next few years. And I’m so proud of everything they’ve accomplished already!
